A new section on Work Place Health and Safety (WHS) has been created in the documentation area of the website. It is a "living, growing" area of this site and will be updated and e
QREs are scheduled to be run at our range on November 18th and December 16th and we need a some helpers to set up the field and run the canteen and then put it all away.
This is your chance to see the Member 100 is Callan Nadin who is a returning member. Our membership now stands at 107 and is growing. We desperately need people to assist in coaching and looking after the newer members to ensure that they get the most from archery and become part of the EAC family. Not only does this growth mean we are running short of coaches but it also means there is more work for pretty much everything such as;
- Field set-up - Emptying the garbage bins - Canteen (no Shirley doesn't get paid) - Maintenance of the target butts - Maintenance of the target faces - Bringing in equipment after the shoot. - picking up rubbish from the field after the shoot. We are a 100% volunteer organisation. Currently the load is being carried by a select few. We need all members to assist with these tasks or there will come a day when we just wont shoot because things aren't done. I have passed on a survey from Archery NSW to all members with email addresses. This is to assist ANSW in planning support for mainly competition archers but the committee feels ANSW needs to be across the ideas and aspirations of a wider community and so we ask our members to answer the questions which they feel are applicable to themselves and to return the forms to secretary@erinaarcheryclub.com.au
