four shoots and shoot in your own or higher class for all of the shoots.

Just a reminder that the shoots during the month of February constitute the Yeadon Memorial shoot. In order to be in award contention you must complete all
four shoots and shoot in your own or higher class for all of the shoots. Unfortunately due to the fires affecting his property, Mark Sim has had to give up his role as DOS. Best wishes to Mark.
Unfortunately Erina Leagues club has informed us that they will be using the field for a Christmas event on the 21st so a shoot won't be possible.
On the positive side it will mean that strong people will be available to help with the new kitchen container if we are unable to get things sorted on Sunday the 15th. So far we have only had 2 volunteers, come on team we really need some strong people to help out. If you have metal cutting and welding skills, even better. I have added a link to a PDF version of next years tournament calendar under the results & Calendar menu.
The next shoot is down as a Novelty shoot but as we are going to have one on December 21 we are changing the November 30 shoot to be an indoor followed by a match play.
Hi everyone. This year's Christmas party and Presentation night will be on December 14 at Erina Leagues club. 18:30 for a 19:00 start.
Cost will be $30 per head for adults (subsidised by EAC) and $10.50 for children. You are welcome to bring along non-EAC members. There is a registration form at our club that you will need to register your details and that of any non-EAC members joining you. Payment can be made to Nisaba, our treasurer when you register or you can pay by direct bank deposit to our EAC account, using your surname with the word Xmas; Name: Erina Archery Club Inc. Bank: CBA Branch: Erina NSW BSB: 062544 Acct number: 00914336 Note: Payment needs to be made at least by the 14th of December so that we can give numbers to the club. If you are unable to attend on the night after paying we are unable to give a refund as we will have paid for food for you. Due to the difficult nature of setting up the field for rounds shot in yards it is absolutely necessary that members register for this event or risk being disappointed if they show up on the day and are unable to shoot at their preferred distance. The registration form is always available above the sign on book at the club.
At the GM yesterday members voted to move the time for the first scoring arrow to 09:30 during the daylight savings period. This means members will have to arrive at the range early enough to assist with field set up so that the 2 practice ends can start by 09:15.
This year's John Clarke shoot is being held on October 12. For those who aren't familiar with it, the shoot distances are in yards. This is done in memory of John who was always promoting such shoots.
Members are asked, if possible to come dressed in some sort of archery related costume, English period if possible. People dressed as American Indians have been welcomed on the past. It's just a day to remember John and the origins of Archery. You need to register for this shoot, the same as you would for the monthly FITA/WA 1440 shoot. The members' contact form located in the members area has been updated to make it easier to submit items to the GM agenda that you would like to discuss.
It can found by following this link https://www.erinaarcheryclub.com.au/members-contact-form.html |
