Erina Archery Club conducts beginner courses at regular intervals throughout the year. The Club provides all of the equipment required plus practical and theory instruction.
Beginners learn on a Recurve bow. During the course they will be given the opportunity to try a Compound Bow.
Course Details:

Classroom Training
The course is held on Three (3) consecutive Saturdays from 9am – 11am.
The cost of the course is $60.00 per head.
Bookings are Essential.
There are also a few conditions that must be met to comply with Safety requirements:

Field Training
Beginners 14yrs and under MUST have a parent or other adult authorised in writing by the parent in attendance for the duration of the course.
- Participants are required to wear a close fitting shirt or top and closed footwear. NO open toe shoes, such as thongs or sandals.
. - A hat is essential. NO HAT NO SHOOT (a floppy brimmed hat is best). A baseball cap is not considered a hat because it offers no protection to the ears from the sun.

Field Training
- Participants must be physically capable of using the equipment we currently have available.
The aim of the course is not to make you an expert Archer. The course is intended to give you a feeling for the sport, so that you can make a more informed choice about Archery.
After completing the three-week course you will be offered a chance to participate as a beginner for a further three weeks with the members of the Club
After five weeks you should be able to make an informed decision as to whether you want to continue with archery as a sport.
If you choose to do so then you will come back for another week where you will be measured for your equipment.
